Since having laid eyes on those gorgeous dress while on vacation in Portland, I have been dreaming of it being in my closet close to every night. Okay, not every night, but I have dreamed of it!

I love the mustard color of it, the A-line silhouette, and the vibrant stitching on the sleeves and hem.

Here’s to spring weather, so I can wear my warmer weather dresses again!

Wednesday Want: Florence Cable Pullover

Love love love the arm detailing on the sweater and the shorter length!! Not only does it look great for a shorter statured woman such as myself but I also love the punch of color.

Honestly, I see this being the perfect sweater for a chill night with friends while up in the NW.

Wednesday Want: Woodland Stroll Poncho Pullover

woodlands-stroll-poncho-pullover

With the weather down here going from being in the 40s one day and then the 70s a few days later, it’s hard to figure out what to wear. That is why I love ponchos for bipolar weather!

When the day starts out cold, layer that poncho over a cute shirt and then when it starts to warm up–bye bye poncho! It’s also a great layering piece for when it gets cooler all throughout the day, as it pairs wonderfully with a warm thermal.

Personally, I love this poncho from Anthropologie as the neckline is so lovely, as is the detailing on the bottom and the angled hemline.

How understatedly chic is this sweater?!

I love the ribbed knit, cute bow, and ashy gray coloring of the sweater. All in all, it’s going to be a classic that can be honestly be paired with just about anything.

Wednesday Want: Into The Night Top

Nineties fashion seems to have come back in style, and I must say, as a ’90s kid, I am loving it!

I especially love this top from Free People. It’s a great piece by itself or for layering. Also looks amazing with this ensemble of colored leggings and a flannel tied ’round the waist.

How do y’all feel about the ’90s making a comeback?

Wednesday Want: Knit’s a Date! A-line Dress

ww-knits-a-date-dress

I love love love this dress!

Seriously though–I love the color, the sleeve, and especially the fact that it’s an a line dress, aka my favorite silhouette. Also, I can easily imagine this dress being dressed up with a cute blazer or down with a denim or leather jacket.

It’d also be really easy to transition it into colder weather months by pairing it with some cute tights/leggings and a chic coat.

Wednesday Want: Williams Sonoma Pumpkin Spice Candle

williams-sonoma-pumpkin-spice-candle

A few weeks back when I was at Williams-Sonoma, I came upon this deliciously yummy smelling candle while at the check out counter.

I’ve honestly been quite good lately and have yet to purchase this candle until it truly is fall *pats myself on the back*. However, come September 22nd, I may not be accountable for my actions when it comes all things pumpkin, including this candle.

Wednesday Want: Leopard Print Tie-waist Skirt

Wednesday Want--Leopard Tie Knot Skirt

As mentioned in my previous post, there are so many things I’m loving at J Crew right now. Not only do the majority of these pieces work for my petite yet curvy body, but they’re also versatile. What a win win!

I love how J Crew paired their tie waist skirt with a khaki shirt and pink coat, giving it a safari inspired vibe that’s also quite feminine. Personally, I’d tone down the print of the skirt by pairing it with a chambray button down and some black booties.

However, you can honestly put just about any colored top with this skirt as leopard print is basically a neutral in its own right.

Wednesday Want: Obvious State’s Bloom Collection

Obvious State, a New York City-based design studio cofounded by Evan and Nichole Robertson, combines gorgeous patterns with “provocative language and literature”.

Their most recent collection, the Bloom collection, combines quotes from 6 Romantic Period poets (Blake, Byron, Shelley, Keats, Coleridge, and Wordsworth) with beautiful florals. It currently consists of: 8 totes, 2 mugs, a set of bookmarks, 8 prints, and 8 cards.

I personally just ordered the “Harmony” Mug  and the Bloom Bookmark Set (both pictured), and I am happy to say that the price tag of these items are just as wonderful as the items themselves.

Wednesday Want: KMB Rovira Wedges

WW-KMB Rovira Wedges

There’s nothing quite like a nice wedge sandal. It’s a shoe that you can not only wear to work, but also on the weekend and to all those graduations/weddings everyone seems to be having.I also love how wedges tend to be the most comfortable show you can wear, while still managing to add some height.

This wedge sandal, in particular, is wonderful as the shape and material of it is quite modern, which is refreshing, as is the shorter heel. When you have knee issues, a high wedge is just a nightmare waiting to happen. (Kudos, though, to those who can wear them!)
