Dots + Stripes

I was so proud of myself for being tall enough to reach the leaves.

*smooch*

I love the little neighborhood my apartment complex is settled next to. It has some of the quaintest houses which makes spur of the moments walk like the one we had after a drugstore visit seem so idyllic. Even though the weather hasn’t been sunny like it was before finals week, getting some fresh air in the midst of studying was definitely a good decision. Hopefully once the sun decides to show its face again there can be many park visits to the three parks close to me–and of course a visit or two to the local ice cream shop 😉

Y’all have a wonderful weekend!

Dreaming of Coachella

I would love love love to head down south to California for Coachella. If only I wasn’t a college student who needs to be a good student and not skip school to go off and do crazy shenanigans, like going to a music festival. *sigh* Y’all shouldn’t feel that bad for me though, considering how I will make my way down there during the Summer. 😉

However, if I were going to venture down to Indio, below are a some things I’d totally pack!

angie floral romper

hendrix halter top

neon tropic bralette

urban renewal overdyed cutoff shorts

sienna fringe bag

Spring Fashion Links

Image

These past few months, Nasty Gal has really come to catch my eye. I love the variety of clothes on the site and how each piece is fitted to appeal towards a particular person. The founder, Sophia Amoruso, has done a superb job when it comes to picking these pieces so all sorts of personalities can enjoy.

modcloth spring

ModCloth, since discovering it a year or so ago, has always been a favorite site of mine to browse. The quirkiness of the clothes, accessories, and home items never ceases to put a smile on my face. Co-Founder Susan Gregg Koger and her Mod Cloth buyers team do such an excellent job to pick pieces that’d put a spring in any lovely girl’s step.

What I love about both of these sites is how their founders turned them from being a barely known thrifting site into two sites that have come to shake up the fashion world. These two women truly are an inspiration!

Y’all have a wonderful Wednesday!
