The decor for this Airbnb (House on 5th) is ah-ma-zing!

I love love love the mixture of rustic and contemporary styles, as well as the neutral color palette that the homeowners decided to go with. Also, it boasts plenty of room and is walking distance to lots of things in Edmond (an Oklahoma City suburb) and is a short drive away to downtown Oklahoma City.

This Airbnb comes highly recommended, so be sure to check it out whenever you’re in the area!

Home Envy: A Touch of Southwestern Flair

I don’t know if it’s due to having grown up in Texas or having visited my family in New Mexico over the years, but there’s always been something so inviting and cozy about a place that has some southwestern flair.

Right now I’m currently trying to find a place in the Houston area that sells reasonably priced serapes. I want to make some throw pillow covers for the couch out of the material, similar to what Brooklyn Decker did when she re-upholstered her chairs, as I think it’d add a nice punch of color to the space.

Have a good weekend y’all and stay dry!

Home Envy: Pink Walls

Blush has officially become the new “it” neutral in my book. Not only can it be on my nails, my lips, and in my closet but also on my walls! Well not my walls per se but it could if I owned a home.

I honestly do love how it not only has become a neutral, as it compliments such a range of shades but also modernizes a room. Of course, it also makes a space feel a bit more feminine as well as airy and crisp.

So, verdict time. Yay or nay to pink walls?

Home Envy: Risky Kitchens

I love kitchens that break away from the norm! Quartz or butcher block countertops (instead of granite), subway tile, two toned countertops, and pendant lighting honestly make me feel a bit giddy. And I love the idea of putting artwork into your kitchen or even painting one of the walls a dark color to add some drama.
