Wednesday Want: KMB Rovira Wedges

WW-KMB Rovira Wedges

There’s nothing quite like a nice wedge sandal. It’s a shoe that you can not only wear to work, but also on the weekend and to all those graduations/weddings everyone seems to be having.I also love how wedges tend to be the most comfortable show you can wear, while still managing to add some height.

This wedge sandal, in particular, is wonderful as the shape and material of it is quite modern, which is refreshing, as is the shorter heel. When you have knee issues, a high wedge is just a nightmare waiting to happen. (Kudos, though, to those who can wear them!)

Wednesday Want: Celane Lace Dress

WW- Celane Lace Dress_1

You know those pretty Self Portrait dresses that you’ve been seeing everywhere (literally)? Yeah, this dress is just like those but half the price. Half!

I also love how the lining is longer than most (a little bit just above the knee) and the light gray-almost lilac coloring of the dress. All in all, this lacy dress from HD in Paris is so chic and perfect for a night out.

Wednesday Want: J Crew Laila Wedges

J Crew Laila Wedges_1

When I recently thumbed through the latest J Crew Style Guide, I was immediately drawn to these wedges.

I love the ankle strap, the variety of colors and fabrics they come in, and the height of the heel. Personally, this floral leather print is my favorite but the blush colored suede ones are gorgeous as well.

Also, now that Phil the Groundhog didn’t see his shadow, these babies will surely see some action with Spring soon to come.

Wednesday Want: UD Gwen Stefani Collection Lipstick

UD Gwen Stefani Collection Lipstick

It’s been awhile since I last wrote a Wednesday Want post, but I knew once I saw the UD Gwen Stefani Collection lipsticks I had to make a post about them.

They’re wonderfully priced below $20 at $18 which is a great price in comparison to other lipstick brands you’d find at Sephora or a department store. I also love the variety of colors, from a deep red to a more sheer nude. The sheer nude color, called Ex-Girlfriend, has to be my current favorite as I feel you can wear it for work or just out and about.

Unfortunately, Ex-Girlfiend and two other shades are out of stock at the moment but there are seven colors to choose from and those out of stock will be available again soon.

Gift Guide for Her–$25 and under

2015 Gift Guide for Her--25 and under

There are officially four Wednesdays before Christmas day, so instead of posting a “Wednesday Want” I’ll be posting gift guides. The gift guides will be divided by price range, as I know budgeting for the holidays is something many of us keep in mind.

This one, like many of the others, includes items that I am currently coveting. I mean, who wouldn’t want to get on the fringe trend train for a cheap fare? Also, I just adore the book covers for the Jane Austen classic novels at Anthropologie.

I hope each and every one of these helps you in your search for the perfect gift.

Best,

Wednesday Want: Windowpane Car Coat

windowpane car coat_1

The windowpane style of this coat is definitely unique and can easily be paired with other patterns as well. I’d love to see how Tartan plaid or stripes would look paired with this coat.

I also love the elongated lapels of this coat. They really lengthen the torso and don’t make that area seems so bulky like other coats do.

Wednesday Want: FP Dream Maker Melange Poncho

20151028014050

I’m seeing ponchos everywhere and at first I was skeptical of the trend but this poncho by Free People has got me saying “yay” instead of “nay”. I love the texture and coloring of it, sort of a nod to the good ol’ cowboy days but with a more modern structure.

It could easily be paired with jeans and leggings along with dresses and skirts even.

Wednesday Want: Billy Ella Velvet Verlan Heels

billy ellla velvet verlan heels

billy ella velvet verlan heels_1

With being someone who would rather wear boots and flats on any given day, I’ve never been too fond of heels. I always thought of them as “hazardous” growing up instead of “sexy” or “empowering”.

However, as I’ve gotten into my twenties, I am starting to see the appeal of heels, especially when I came upon this pair at Anthropolgie. Velvet is such a gorgeous material and paired with an embroidered rose, the result is just absolutely gorgeous.

ASOS Quilted Blanket Jacket

ASOS Quilted Blanket Jacket

I honestly love coats and jackets that just wrap around you–in a way, it’s like they’re cuddling you.

This jacket, in particular, is not only cozy but gorgeously colored and designed. I’d also love to belt it to make even more of a statement.

What type of jackets/coats are you lusting after?
