H&M’s latest ad for their Autumn Collection is AMAZING.
Not only does it include women of all ages (props to Hutton for continuing to look gorgeous) but women of all sizes, color, hair style, and orientation. I also love having a cover of Tom Jones’ iconic song “She’s a Lady” playing in the background, giving the classic a modern take on what it is to be a “lady”.
Kudos, H&M. Kudos.
Football is back and along with it comes the dilemma of figuring out what to wear.Game day attire can be really tricky and very dependent on the weather. For cities in the South, like Houston, where it’s generally quite warm and humid until later in the year, it’s best to stick with a cute tee, jeans, and comfy sandals. Also, a cross body purse is super cute and can easily store all the necessities (key word: necessities) you need for the game.

For cities, such as Seattle, where the weather can vary from cool and overcast to cool and rainy, it’s always best to be prepared for any change in weather that might occur. A rain jacket and rain boots are both musts, and I love the green lining and stitching on this jacket, as well as the Chelsea style of these rain boots. Both the jacket and boots are a different take on classics, as is the buffalo plaid Seahawks button up.

For those who live in colder weather cities, like Foxborough, layering up is essential to staying warm and also to being able to enjoy the game. I ADORE a good collar shift dress, and this one by Topshop is not only “pretty” but also very versatile.
The white collar tends to scare most people off in thinking that this dress can be worn in cooler months. Don’t let the collar fool you, this dress can still be a true adversary on your quest to look ladylike and chic when it gets colder out. Just pair it with a classic style purse and some sophisticated booties (along with some fleece lined tights for all you cold blooded people out there), and you’ve got a great look!

A few weeks back when I was at Williams-Sonoma, I came upon this deliciously yummy smelling candle while at the check out counter.
I’ve honestly been quite good lately and have yet to purchase this candle until it truly is fall *pats myself on the back*. However, come September 22nd, I may not be accountable for my actions when it comes all things pumpkin, including this candle.

For those who’ve followed this blog and my ramblings for a while now, you know that I am a fan of the Lady. So of course, I’m quite excited that she is working on a new album, and rumor has it that the wonderful Florence Welch (among many) is collaborating with her on it.
As for “Perfect Illusion”, it’s definitely a song that took a few listens for me to truly get into it. It is catchy, though, and I honestly see it as good workout song for when I hit the treadmill or even for riding around in the car.

I personally love her pairing of a dark blue dress with a black leather jacket and black booties, as I’ve always been one to think blue and black can totally go together. One of the easiest ways to transform your look for Fall, even when it’s still warm out, is through your nail polish.
Though I do love a good neutral nail, I’m also a big fan of berry and wine shades for f/w as there’s just something so rich and warm about them. Also, these shades will definitely complement a variety of items that you have in your closet and maybe even that Pumpkin Spice Latte you may have already gotten. 😉
