It’s easy to see why midi skirts have become so popular. Their length is perfect for Spring and also climates where the weather tends to fluctuate. If the fabric is lightweight, the skirt can even translate into your Summer wardrobe.
Another thing I love about the length is the fact that many of the skirts come off as being demure, a quality that has become so understated but in my mind is incredibly sexy.
Have a great weekend!

Shopping for a recent graduate can be really tough. You don’t want to get them anything too cheesy while also being unique. In my mind, it’s honestly just best to stick to the basics. You know they’ll be living on their own now, so either get them a good standing mixer or a cook set. If you don’t want to go that route, nice luggage or something centered around an adult bar area is also a good go to. And for those who just can’t pick, a gift card to one of their favorite stores or to a store that’d help them as they get out on their own would work.
P.S. Some stores that would be awesome for a recent female college graduate like myself are: J Crew, Ann Taylor, Anthropologie, Crate & Barrel, Williams & Sonoma, Best Buy, Apple Store, and Nordstrom.
(Products: KitchenAid Artisan Series 5 quart Tilt Head Stand Mixer in Aqua Sky, J Crew gift card, Alice in Wonderland booksi for iPhone or Android available on Etsy, Bar Cabinet available at Anthropologie, Kate Spade Classic Nylon International Carry On, and Williams Sonoma Stainless Steel Cookware Set)
It’s honestly so odd to think that in a month I’ll be graduating from college. I’m not going to lie and say I’m ready for this monumental change in my life to occur because I’m not and like me, so many others aren’t. However, I am also excited to see where I’ll go from here.
Psst… For all those with grads in their life, next week I’ll be posting a list of great gifts to give recent graduates!
