Happy Thanksgiving, aka Turkey Day, y’all!

My trusty black Kimchi Blue purse, sadly, has seen better days. With that in mind, I’ve been searching for another great bag that has a decently long strap and isn’t too big.
I’ve come to like the Downing Bucket Bag for its unique shape and variety of earth tone colors. Needless to say, it’s definitely on my Christmas List. 😉
For me, men can be so hard to shop for. When it comes to shopping for my other half, I generally just stick to buying him things I know he needs along like a warm sweater and a flannel due to our cold weather up here. I do love getting getting him a quirky thing as well too–like The Sriracha Cookbook and a camera lens mug.
Good luck to all those also looking for the man in their life!
(Mug: $14.99; Touchtec Gloves: $45.00; Cardigan: $49.95; Jack White Lazaretto LP: $31.98; Patagonia fleece: $99; The Sriracha Cookbook: $16.99; Breaking Bad Complete DVD Set: $201.29 (for limited time))
Sometimes it can be difficult to shop for your loved ones–especially those who seem to already have everything under the sun. I hope these gift guides steer your towards a gift or two for when you’re having trouble finding something.

Winter has definitely started to show its face here in Eugene. Even as I write this, it is hovering around freezing and at night it’s been getting down in the 2os.
I honestly can’t wait until it snows here–I’m so ready!
Winter in the NW can go from 4os and raining to below freezing and snowing. There are so many days where the best pick me up can honestly be spritzing on some perfume or putting some color on your nails and/or lips.
The weather also loves to wreck havoc on my skin, especially my face and hands which go from their normally oily selves to sensitive once the cold hits. I love Philoshophy’s Hands of Hope cream because it doesn’t irritate my skin like so many other brands and it also has a nice clean smell. Smashbox Photo Finish primer is perfect for my skin as it’s oil-free and has more of a gel base so it’s not too cakey like some primers can be.
Also, for those who have to combat the winter rains like I do, Tarte’s Light Camera Splashes mascara is a must! I love the fact that it’s a waterproof mascara that does not compromise as it’s comb still thickens my lashes ever so nicely.
