This past weekend I went to my cousin in law’s baby shower that was hosted by her sister in San Antonio. Instead of the traditional baby shower setting of pastels and diaper crafts, they decided to take a different approach with a fiesta theme. With a bar consisting of Sangria and Mexican beer to a make your own taco salad line, the baby shower definitely fell in line with the theme.
I just love the light aqua color of the skirt! It can easily be worn for work or for an evening out as all you’d have to do is change up your accessories and make-up a bit.
Also, the midi length is universally flattering–which makes this skirt that much better!

I know I haven’t posted anything for a while now and I’m so sorry ’bout that. I’ve been back in TX for the past two weeks now for my internship and things have been pretty crazy. Once I find a good schedule, the blog will again be up and running like it was not that long ago.

Going on the Anthropologie website can sometimes be such a bad idea because every time I’m on it I want to buy just about everything, including these heels. I love the classic look and thicker heels of this pair. They also could be perfect for work time and dressing up a casual look while running errands on the weekends.
While on the way to the Redwoods, the gang and I stopped at least five times to chill at the coast and do some quick hikes. It was a bit cold in the beginning of the day (What’s new, Oregon?!) but towards the latter part of the day it turned into perfect coastal weather.
Also, I got to see whales (Orcas at that!) for the first time ever in my life. Near the pod of Orcas we also were able to spot some seals, which just made the trip that more eventful!
