I love the color of eggplant and just how rich of a purple it is. Also, though the weather is still fairly frigid, this dress would be cute paired with tights and some booties. It could even work as an option for any sort of upcoming Valentines Day dates with your girlfriends or your other half, instead of the norm like red or pink.
One of my favorite things to make would have to be lasagna. Not only is it super yummy, but when I make it there’s always leftovers.
Hope y’all enjoy it as much as I have over the years!
1 can of Petite Diced tomatoes
1 can of Tomato Sauce
1 can of Tomato Paste
1 cup of Rotel Picante
2 pounds of hamburger meat
Large container 20 oz of cottage cheese
2 packages of Italian shredded cheese
Parmesan cheese to sprinkle on top
Oven-ready lasagna pasta shells
Preheat your oven to 350.
In a large pan, brown your meat and as you brown it continually drain the grease.
Turn the stove down to around low and add all of your tomato ingredients. Then add the Picante and let your mixture simmer while stirring occasionally.
Spray a 13×9 pan with Pam cooking spray. Line the pan with the oven-ready lasagna shells.
On top of the pasta shells, put a layer of the meat mixture on top. Then scoop out some of the cottage cheese and spread it out on top of the meat mixture and then sprinkle with however much shredded cheese you want.
Continue to layer like this until there’s no more of the meat mixture left. Sprinkle the top of your lasagna with parmesan cheese.
Put the lasagna in the oven uncovered and it should be done when the top starts to brown.
To me, there’s honestly just something so inviting about a space with an interesting color plate that also boasts gorgeous yet comfy furniture. Darker colored walls are really gorgeous and have become quite a trend as of late. Also, tufted furniture (like the large pink ottoman and camel colored headboard) is something I’ve always been a big fan of as it looks regal but cozy at the same time. I’d love to live in any of the above spaces and could only hope that my budget won’t mind the lovely things I want.
P.S. Can anyone tell me of places to find letters like in the second picture for a decent price? I’d love a C!

Many compare Lily Collins and her style to that of Audrey Hepburn, but I’d like to think that her style would be that of a more modern Hepburn. I love her use of leather, of the top knot, and of the red lip which always seem to do well with polishing off her look.

This coat is perfect for the winter storms that keep on ravaging the country. Not only is it durable but it’s also too cute with the sweater-like sleeves and faux fur lined hoodie.
Not only do I love her on Downton Abbey but I’m also quickly falling in love with her personal style. From her color blocked dress at the Emmy Awards to her leather shift dresses, when it comes to edging up her formal wear she can do no wrong in my eyes. Also, how awesome is her owl tee and velvet skirt combo? Too cute!
I’m sorry for the lack of posts over the past few weeks. Going back to Texas for Christmas and spending time with loved ones I hadn’t seen for a year or so were first and foremost on my mind over the weeks.
I do hope that all of y’all were able to have a good holiday season and were able to also start the New Year off right.
I’ll be posting at a more constant rate now that I’m back home in my college town in the NW.
